Opened in 1959, Skiles was designed as a classroom building for the Georgia Insitute of Technology. Since then, it has been converted mostly into office spaces for the School of Mathematics and School of Literature, Media, and Communication. This project was a programming exercise to see which of the two schools would best fit the space as sole occupant. The hope of the the university is to return the building back to it’s original glory and maximize the efficiency of the interior space.
